Last week I made an addition to my tattoo collection; this one is special. It was almost five years ago when we found out my mother had breast cancer. A marking on my heart I will never forget... felt I was losing my other half. With a long process of not knowing, time slowly passed before there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Her health finally came back once again, and with smiles and optimism my mother is well- and continuing to inspire and challenge me from across the country. With a date; celebrating the day my mum came into this world. Wanted to show you :)
Previews! There is so much to catch up on with you. Just got back into Nashville last night. Photography has been going so well this year! The magazine project is progressing and beginning to form into pages, and a few album covers are underway. Declared the month of March: photo editing month! Already miss Springfield, MO. Meet Elsie, an artist making the world cute: [here] and Jeremy Larson, music that will melt your heart: [here] It was certainly inspiring to hear his music through the walls in the wee hours of the night while Elsie and I were editing photos. Took a few pictures of them in the sunshine... Shooting musicians is always a favorite, but have grown to love photographing couples as well. Suppose it's the twinkle in their eyes for one another- Really hope to do more this year. Booked my first wedding this summer! It will be taking place over the pond in England, first time for both, amped!
